Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The Wanser 5 spent time together all day! Our day started with the kids and I getting Tom Turkey ready to be cooked. They all helped chop and dice, unstuff and stuff. Then it was time to make breakfast..bacon and eggs. We later learned that none of us are smarter than fifth graders!!! In between playing games and watching movies, we finished cooking the rest of our meal. We are so blessed.For the second time, I watched Facing the Giants. One of the things that the coach int he movie said was,"Your actions will always follow your beliefs." I know for me, I defeat myself before I get started with something by thinking I can't do it. What a different perspective to believe that you can, even before you do it. whatever you face today, remember that. Also remember that the Lord promises that He will not give us more than we can handle. Never look at things through your own human eyes, but ask God how it looks to him.
